Blacktown Arts Market
Council invites potential stallholders to submit applications for a one day
outdoors art and craft market. The market will be held at Blacktown Arts
Centre on Saturday 10 October 2009 and will coincide with the 2009
Blacktown City Art Exhibition.
Local artists are invited to show and sell their art and craft works on the day.
HOW TO APPLY FOR A STALL
Please complete and submit the application form along with 2 photographs of the works for the assessment and to determine the suitability of the works. Click here for the application form
NOTIFICATION
Please, note that there will only be room for 25 stalls. Works will be assessed on the basis of the quality, suitability and range of works. Preference will be given to artists who live in Blacktown Local Government Area.
Please note that the Stallholders will be selected at the discretion of Council staff and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the selection process.
IMPORTANT DATES FOR APPLICANTS
Closing Date for Applications: Friday 25th September 2009
Notification Date for successful applicants: Tuesday 29th September. Applicants will be notified by mail or email.
SET UP ON SATURDAY 10 OCTOBER 2009
Venue: Blacktown Arts Centre
Set up from 8 - 9.30 am
Running time: 10 am - 3 pm
Pack up time: 3 - 4pm
PLEASE NOTE: Stallholders are required to bring their own set up requirements for their stall, such as tables, umbrellas for shade, blankets and baskets.
BOOKING FEES:
A booking fee of $10 will apply per site. Sites are approximately 3 x 3 metres. Stallholders are required to bring their own shade structure.
A booking fee of $30 will apply per site with cover. Covered sites are approx. 3 x 2 metres
A booking fee of $2 will apply for borrowing an easel.
A booking fee of $5 will apply for borrowing a table.
Booking fees will be collected on the day at arrival, and before set up. Cash only!
