Interested in having a stall? You can register for stall by clicking here or call 9839 6558 for details.

Tips for a successful stall

  • The Arts Centre will provide a table (1800x600mm). It is a good idea to cover the table with material to ensure that your zines and works are presented in the most favourable manner.
  • Bring some paper/plastic bags that you can give your customers for their purchases.
  • Bring some change, a mixture of coins and notes to ensure that you do not have to scramble for change when someone makes a purchase from you.
  • If you can, bring some business cards with your details that people can take away with them. Business cards do not have to be professionally printed, it is simply a way of providing your details in case people want to get in contact with you in the future. It is particularly useful if you want to promote a website or a blog.
  • Promote the fact that you are having a stall. Tell all your networks about the event and ask them to pass it on. The more people that know about your stall, the more chances you have of selling your zines and products.
  • If you have a range of zines, try to encourage more sales by having special deals such as discounts for multiple purchases or even a small gift such as limited edition small zines or postcards.
  • The Arts Centre will provide tea, coffee and water. You may want to bring your own lunch and keep it in the centre's fridge so that you do not have to rush around looking for food.
  • Most importantly, have lots of fun. This is an opportunity to promote your work, meet other zinesters and build your networks.

See you at the Zine Fair.
